Aaj ke time mein almost har insaan kuch na kuch chase kar raha hai—money, success, relationships, respect… Lekin ek honest sawaal hai—Itna sab hone ke baad bhi andar se empty kyu feel hota hai? Kabhi notice kiya hai?Ek goal achieve hota hai… thodi der khushi milti hai… phir mind phir se kuch naya dhoondhne lagta hai. Main bhi exactly isi phase se guzra hoon. Aur isi searching ke beech ek word baar-baar saamne aaya—Bhakti. Lekin phir doubt aaya…What is bhakti actually?Kya ye sirf pooja-paath hai? Ya kuch aur deeper hai? What Is Bhakti? (Simple Samajh) Agar simple language mein samjhein—what is bhakti ya what is meant by bhakti— Toh Bhakti ka matlab hai:God ke saath ek loving relationship develop karna. what is the meaning of bhakti ka real answer ye nahi hai ki aap kitni rituals karte ho…Real meaning ye hai ki aapka heart kitna connected hai Krishna se. Bhakti fear-based nahi hoti—“agar pooja nahi ki toh kuch galat ho jayega” Bhakti love-based hoti hai—“main Krishna se connect hona chahta hoon, kyunki wo mere hain” Yahi real Bhakti ka starting point hai. What Is Bhakti Yog? (Sabse Natural Path) Ab next question aata hai—what is bhakti yog? Bhakti Yog matlab devotion ka path—jisme insaan God ke saath connect karta hai through love, remembrance, service aur surrender. Spiritual paths generally 3 bataye jaate hain: Karma Yoga Jnana Yoga Bhakti Yoga Aur sach bolun toh Bhakti sabse natural hai. Kyuki har insaan already love karta hai—kisi person se, kisi cheez se, kisi dream se. Bhakti Yoga bas us love ko Krishna ki taraf redirect karta hai. Aur jab love right jagah pe lagta hai… tab life settle hone lagti hai. Bhakti Itni Powerful Kyu Hai? Ab ye samajhna important hai—Bhakti kaam kaise karti hai? Simple hai…Bhakti directly soul ko connect karti hai Supreme se. Bhagavad Gita mein Krishna assurance dete hain ki unka bhakt kabhi destroy nahi hota, aur wo hume invite karte hain ki hum unhe yaad karein aur unke devotee banein. Ye koi theory nahi hai… ye ek practical experience hai. Jab heart ko right connection milta hai…toh anxiety kam hone lagti hai… clarity aane lagti hai… Aur life dheere-dheere stable feel hone lagti hai. What Is Bhakti Movement? (Heart Revolution) Ab thoda historical angle samajhte hain—what is bhakti movement aur who started bhakti movement? Technically, Bhakti kisi ek insaan ne start nahi ki.Bhakti eternal hai. Lekin time-time par great saints ne ise revive kiya, jaise Ramanujacharya, Madhvacharya aur Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Bhakti movement ek spiritual revolution tha jisme devotion ko common logon tak leke aaya gaya. Message simple tha:God sabke liye available hain. Why Were Ordinary People Attracted to Bhakti? Ab ek important question—why do you think ordinary people were attracted to bhakti? Answer bahut simple hai. Bhakti mein koi restriction nahi hai. Koi qualification nahi chahiye Koi caste barrier nahi Koi special background nahi Sirf ek cheez chahiye—sincere heart. Aur jab logon ne ye samjha ki God unse personally connect kar sakte hain, toh naturally log attract hone lage. Main Features of Bhakti (Core Samajh) Agar hum dekhein—what were the main feature of bhakti— Toh kuch important points hain: Simplicity Universality Personal connection with God Naam Japa (chanting) Satsang Seva Traditional Bhakti mein 9 processes bhi hote hain jaise hearing, chanting, remembering, serving, etc. Lekin overall essence simple hai—heart se connect karna. Bhakti Ko Log Galat Samajhte Hain Aaj kal log Bhakti ko galat samajh lete hain. Kuch log sochte hain Bhakti sirf budhape ke liye hai.Kuch log sochte hain Bhakti emotional weakness hai.Kuch log sochte hain Bhakti ka matlab sab chhod dena hai. Lekin reality ye hai ki Bhakti highest intelligence hai. Bhakti aapko life se bhagati nahi…life ko sahi tarike se jeena sikhati hai. Mera Personal Realization Honestly bolun toh mere liye bhi Bhakti ek din mein clear nahi hui thi. Main bhi confused tha—life ka purpose kya hai, God kaun hain. Lekin jab maine sincerely Bhagavad Gita padhna start kiya aur acharyas ke teachings ko samjha, tab dheere-dheere clarity aane lagi. Bhakti theory nahi rahi… experience ban gayi. Mujhe samajh aaya ki Krishna sirf ek concept nahi hain—wo actively guide kar rahe hain. Bas hume unhe samajhna hota hai. Bhakti Life Ko Kaise Change Karti Hai Jab aap Bhakti practice karte ho, toh changes naturally aate hain: Fear kam hota hai Mind peaceful hota hai Decisions clear hote hain Life meaningful lagti hai Problems rehti hain, lekin unhe handle karne ka nazariya badal jata hai. Aur sabse important—aapko feel hota hai ki aap akela nahi ho. Final Thought: Toh Bhakti Kya Hai? Agar ab phir se poocha jaye—what is bhakti? Toh answer simple hai. Bhakti na sirf religion hai, na hi sirf ritual. Bhakti ek living relationship hai Krishna ke saath. Jisme love hai, trust hai, connection hai. Aur jab ye connection ban jata hai, toh life waise hi transform ho jati hai. Ek Simple Invitation Agar aap bhi Bhakti ko actually samajhna chahte ho—sirf theory nahi, practical— Toh start karo Bhagavad Gita se, devotees ke saath connect karo, aur dheere-dheere khud experience karo. Kyuki Bhakti padhne ki cheez nahi hai…ye jeene ki cheez hai. Hare Krishna
Who Is Lord Krishna? The Truth I Discovered While Studying the Gita
A Question I Never Really Understood Being born and brought up in a typical Indian (especially Hindi-speaking) family, I was always surrounded by devotion. There were pictures of different gods in the house, festivals were celebrated with enthusiasm, and stories from scriptures were often heard. But somewhere deep inside, there was always one confusion that I never really voiced: If there are so many gods… then who is actually supreme? Among all these divine personalities, Lord Krishna always stood out to me — but in a very confusing way. I would often see his pictures as a small baby — crawling, smiling, and stealing butter. And honestly, I used to wonder: How can a small child perform such extraordinary, almost impossible tasks?Who exactly is Krishna? Is He just a character from stories? Is He God?Or is He a historical personality whose life has been exaggerated over time? These questions stayed with me for years… without any clear answer. The Turning Point: When I Opened the Gita Everything began to change in the year 2022. It was during the lockdown — a time when the whole world had paused. There was nowhere to go, nothing urgent to chase, and for the first time, there was space to reflect. Out of curiosity, I decided to read the Bhagavad Gita. Not casually… but seriously. And that is where things started to shift. While reading Chapter 7, I came across a verse that quite literally shook my understanding: मत्त: परतरं नान्यत्किञ्चिदस्ति धनञ्जय ।मयि सर्वमिदं प्रोतं सूत्रे मणिगणा इव ॥ (Bg. 7.7) Krishna says:“There is no truth superior to Me. Everything rests upon Me, like pearls are strung on a thread.” This was not a symbolic statement. It was direct. Absolute. And at that moment, a very real question arose within me: Why is Krishna speaking like the Supreme? So… Who Is Lord Krishna? Really? As I continued reading, more clarity began to unfold. Krishna Himself explains: सर्वयोनिषु कौन्तेय… अहं बीजप्रद: पिता ॥ (Bg. 14.4)“I am the seed-giving father of all living beings.” सर्वस्य चाहं हृदि सन्निविष्टो… (Bg. 15.15)“I am seated in everyone’s heart.” And then, from the Brahma-samhita: īśvaraḥ paramaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ… sarva-kāraṇa-kāraṇam“Krishna is the Supreme Controller, the cause of all causes.” In simple terms, what I began to understand was this: Krishna is not one among many gods.Krishna is the source of everything. Not just a divine figure…but the origin of all existence. Not Just a God in Stories Growing up, Krishna was often presented through stories — especially His childhood pastimes and His relationship with Radha. But the Gita presents a very different, deeper perspective. Krishna says: जन्म कर्म च मे दिव्यम्… (Bg. 4.9)“My birth and activities are divine.” And also: नाहं प्रकाश: सर्वस्य… (Bg. 7.25)“I am not revealed to everyone.” This means something very important. Krishna is not a mythological character. He is a divine reality — but not everyone can understand Him. Even His relationship with Srimati Radharani is not ordinary. rādhā-kṛṣṇa eka ātmā… (CC Ādi 4.56) It is a spiritual exchange — beyond material interpretation. The more I read, the clearer it became: We often misunderstand Krishna because we try to judge Him through a material lens. Seeing Krishna Through the Gita’s Eyes The Bhagavad Gita slowly revealed a complete picture. Krishna is not just a teacher in the Gita — He is The Creator न च मत्स्थानि भूतानि… (Bg. 9.5) The Maintainer मयाध्यक्षेण प्रकृति:… (Bg. 9.10) The Supreme Controller ईश्वर: सर्वभूतानां… (Bg. 18.61) He is not separate from creation — yet not limited by it. This was a completely different understanding from what I had grown up with. Why Krishna Feels So Personal One of the most beautiful realisations was this: Krishna is not distant. He is deeply personal. He tells Arjuna: भक्तोऽसि मे सखा चेति… (Bg. 4.3)“You are My devotee and My friend.” And when Arjuna is confused, he surrenders: शिष्यस्तेऽहं… (Bg. 2.7)“I am Your disciple.” Krishna becomes: A friend A guide A protector And finally says: सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य… (Bg. 18.66)“Surrender unto Me, I will protect you.” At that point, Krishna stopped feeling like a distant God…and started feeling like someone very close. Understanding Krishna Through His Relationships Naturally, many questions arise. His father is Vasudeva, who carried Him across the Yamuna to safety — a moment filled with divine protection. His principal queens include Rukmini and Satyabhama. The story of Rukmini’s marriage, where Krishna carried her away with divine courage, reflects a deeper principle — that the Lord responds to sincere devotion. Krishna accepted Sandipani Muni as His teacher, showing that even the Supreme Being sets an example for the world by following discipline. His sister, Subhadra, is also part of His divine pastimes and plays an important role in the Mahabharata. But one realisation stands above all: These are not ordinary events. They are transcendental pastimes, meant to elevate our understanding — not limit it. My Most Personal Realization The biggest transformation in my understanding came when I read the Bhagavad Gita as it is, presented by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. For the first time, Krishna was not just explained…He was revealed. By great fortune, I came in contact with ISKCON and began practising bhakti. And today when I reflect, I genuinely feel the following: If I had not received this knowledge…I would not be where I am today. Krishna, to me now, is the following: All-attractive All-loving Always present And I truly feel deeply fortunate to be connected to this path. What Changes When You Understand Krishna When this understanding becomes real, life begins to change. Fear starts reducing: न मे भक्त: प्रणश्यति (Bg. 9.31)“My devotee never perishes.” Clarity increases: मन्मना भव… (Bg. 9.34)“Always think of Me.” And purpose becomes clear: कौमार आचरेत्प्राज्ञो… (SB 7.6.1) Life is no longer random. It becomes meaningful. So… Who Is Lord Krishna for Me Now? After this journey, if someone asks me the following: Who is Lord Krishna? My answer is simple. Krishna is not just God. He is: My guide My well-wisher The one who understands me better than I
Where Was God? Understanding the Yamuna Boat Tragedy
The Boat fell in Yamuna river in Gokul (Yamuna Boat Tragedy) I have been seeing for a couple of days that people are talking about the Yamuna boat tragedy, which took place on the 10th of April. Seriously, I did not know about the incident in the past because I keep myself away from social media and all, but seriously, when I heard this news and saw the misconceptions occurring among the devotees and the non-devotees, I thought, Let’s talk about this matter and clarify all the confusions. The auspicious incident or game of karma There is one controversy going on among the devotees and the non-devotees: why did this incident happen to the people who went to Vrindavan? Vrindavan is the home of Krishna (the God), and if they had gone there, then why did they lose their lives? In defence, devotees are also making defensive actions against them, but personally I am also not finding any convincing answers from devotees; that is why I am writing this blog. Devotees do not have karma Yes, it is there. I know it’s hard to believe that devotees don’t undergo karma, but we’ll cover that in my next blog. Here, there are also devotees who lost their lives while singing “Radha Radha” before they died. This material-life argument comes from the atheistic class that does not chant Radha Rani’s name. Why did they have to die? Why did God do wrong to them? So let us understand this in my next paragraph ‘Good’ or ‘bad’ is like assuming our false Dad Let’s say you went to the theatre to watch a movie, and there you saw that my hero was getting beaten by the villain, and then you left after the interval. You did not wait to watch the rest of my movie. You said, ‘Oh, this is a very disappointing movie because the hero is getting beaten.’ I will not go inside to watch movie.’ But in reality, as we all know, after the interval, the hero beats the villain; he achieves his glory, and the movie ends. Therefore, the story is complete. But that person who watched only half the movie did not understand the whole story. The same is the case here: those who are saying that God has done wrong with them People do not know the complete truth. Those who have died, have they seen where they have gone after death? They think that when a person dies, everything finishes, but the reality is we know that after the body, the soul travels from body to body. Even if the body seems to be finished, the soul does not, so those who are saying that God has done wrong with them – do they really know where they are exactly now as souls? Do they know where a person goes if he leaves his body in the Yamuna? If you do not know, then kindly shut your mouth and read the next paragraph. Where did they actually go? Honestly, I also do not know where they have exactly gone because I am not Krishna, but I can predict from shashtras where they might have gone. But one thing is 100% sure: that they have not gone to hell. But why so? Because it is mentioned in the Bhagavad Gita, “na me bhaktaḥ praṇaśyati”, that my devotees never perish, this is guaranteed that they have not gone to hell. But the question is still the same: where did they exactly go? there are many scriptural references and examples that have one achieve the supreme abode just by taking the name of Krishna So they were chanting Radha’s name during their final time, so there are very high chances that they have gone to Goloka, the spiritual kingdom of God. They also have some further advantages which also help in their achieving a supreme abode. Advantages as follows: Leaving the body in the Yamuna, which is one of the purest. Leaving the body in Vrindavan Dham, which is the home of my God. They died while doing sadhu sang. cc madhya 22.54Sadhu-sanga, “sadhu-sanga”, sarva-shastra kayaLava-matra sadhu-sanga sarva-siddhi haya So after considering all the above evidence, it is confirmed that they must have gotten the highest achievement of human life, which is Goloka Vrindavan. Was their killing necessary? People might argue that, okay, this can be understood – that their death was not a normal death – but still, death is death. Why did Krishna kill them? Was it necessary? My understanding is yes, it was necessary because nowadays we see that so many people are using dharma. for bad purposes, either to gain followers or to impress the opposite gender, and on the other hand, people now are treating Vrindavan as Goa and coming to Vrindavan only for fun, not for sadhu sanga or for learning the art of bhajan; it’s simply material perception, enjoyment and exploitation. So Krishna is the leela purushottam, so this is the leela of Krishna to keep these people away so that they become fearful to come to Vrindavan and remain away. So this is our Krishna; what does he do? Only he knows. Ignorance Breakdown – The mouth is shut now This blog of mine is a slap on the face of those who criticise Krishna for the incident above, but if they read this blog, then they would be awakened from their sleep. As an admin of Prabhupad Ashraya, it is my duty to rectify the controversies of Sanatan Dharma, so I tried to do so in today’s blog, and I hope I might have cleared your doubts, but still, if you have any doubt regarding this topic, then kindly write in the comment section, or you can directly contact me through the ‘Contact Us’ page of our website. I will be glad to respond to you and clear your doubts. Hare Krishna

Who Wrote Mahabharata? The Divine Story Behind Its Creation
Introduction – Ek Simple Question, Lekin Deep Answer “Mahabharata kisne likhi?” — yeh ek bahut simple question lagta hai, lekin iska answer utna hi gehra aur adhyatmik hai। Aaj ke samay mein kai log Mahabharat ko sirf ek kahani ya mythology samajhte hain, lekin vastav mein yeh ek Itihasa hai — yani “jo vastav mein hua।” Isliye is prashn ka uttar samajhna sirf knowledge nahi, balki spiritual awakening ka bhi ek step hai। Mahabharat sirf ek granth nahi, balki ek divine arrangement hai — jisme Bhagavan ki ichha, rishi ka gyaan aur parampara ka prachar sab kuch ek saath aata hai। Is blog mein hum jaanenge ki Mahabharat kisne likhi, kaise likhi gayi, aur kyun yeh granth aaj bhi itna mahatvapurn hai। Who Wrote Mahabharata? (महाभारत किसने लिखी?) Mahabharat ke rachayita hain Maharishi Ved Vyas, jinhe hum Veda Vyasa ke naam se bhi jaante hain। “Vyasa” shabd ka arth hota hai — jo gyaan ko vibhajit aur vyavasthit kare। Vyasadev ne sirf Mahabharat hi nahi, balki vedon ko bhi sangrahit aur vibhajit kiya, isliye unhe Veda Vyasa kaha jata hai। Unhone Mahabharat ko Itihasa ke roop mein prastut kiya, jiska matlab hai ki yeh koi kalpnik kahani nahi, balki ek historical-spiritual granth hai। Lekin yeh kahani yahin khatam nahi hoti — iska agla hissa aur bhi adbhut hai। The Divine Writing – Ved Vyas aur Ganesh Ji ki Leela Jab Ved Vyas ji ne Mahabharat ko likhne ka sankalp liya, tab unhone Bhagavan Ganesh ko is granth ko likhne ke liye aamantrit kiya। Ganesh ji ne ek shart rakhi — “Main bina ruke likhunga, aapko bina rukke bolna hoga।” Vyas ji ne bhi ek shart rakhi — “Aap bina samjhe kuch nahi likhenge।” Is divine samvaad ke baad Mahabharat ka lekhan shuru hua। Jab bhi Vyas ji ko samay chahiye hota tha, ve bahut gambhir aur jatil shlok bolte the, jisse Ganesh ji unhe samajhne mein thoda samay lete। Iska deeper meaning kya hai? Yeh humein sikhata hai ki spiritual gyaan ko bina samjhe accept nahi karna chahiye। Mahabharat ka har shlok ek gahra tattva lekar aata hai। Guru–Shishya Parampara – Knowledge ka Real Flow Mahabharat ka gyaan sirf likha hi nahi gaya, balki guru-shishya parampara ke madhyam se prasarit bhi hua। Ved Vyas ke shishya Vaishampayana ne is granth ko Raja Janamejaya ko sunaya। Was Mahabharata Written by One Person? (Modern Perspective) Kuch adhunik vidvano ka maanna hai ki Mahabharat ek hi samay mein nahi likhi gayi, balki kai sadiyon mein iska vikas hua। Shuruaat mein yeh oral tradition ke roop mein thi, jise baad mein likhit roop diya gaya। Samay ke saath ismein kuch kathayein aur jodi gayi। Lekin Bharatiya parampara ke anusaar, iska mool rachayita Ved Vyas hi hain। Unhone hi is gyaan ko sangrahit aur vyavasthit kiya। Isliye yeh kehna galat nahi hoga ki — Mahabharat ka lekhan Vyas ji ne kiya, lekin iska prerna divine thi। Why Mahabharata is Not an Ordinary Book Mahabharat ko kabhi bhi ek normal book ke roop mein nahi dekhna chahiye। Ismein keval yudh ki kahani nahi hai, balki: Dharma aur Adharma ka vivechan Karma aur uske fal ka siddhant Rajneeti aur neeti shastra Aur sabse important — Bhagavad Gita Isi liye ise kai baar “5th Veda” bhi kaha jata hai। Yeh granth ek complete life manual hai, jisme har situation ka solution diya gaya hai। Spiritual Understanding – Krishna ka Divine Plan Prabhupad Ashraya ke drishtikon se dekha jaye to Mahabharat sirf Ved Vyas ki rachna nahi, balki Bhagavan Krishna ka ek divine plan hai। Krishna ne hi dharma ki sthapna ke liye is yudh ko hone diya aur Vyas ji ke madhyam se is gyaan ko duniya tak pahunchaya। Isliye Mahabharat ko samajhne ka sahi tareeka hai — Ise ek divine message ke roop mein dekho, na ki sirf ek story ke roop mein। Life Lessons from This Topic Mahabharat kisne likhi — is prashn se bhi humein kai important lessons milte hain: Gyaan hamesha parampara se aata hai Divine knowledge ko samajhne ke liye vinamrata chahiye Spiritual texts ko superficial nazariye se nahi dekhna chahiye Bhagavan apne sandesh ko prasarit karne ke liye madhyam chunte hain Conclusion – Final Truth Toh aakhir Mahabharat kisne likhi? Iska seedha jawab hai — Maharishi Ved Vyas ne Mahabharat likhi Lekin iska poora sach yeh hai — Is granth ke peeche Bhagavan Krishna ki divine prerna hai Mahabharat ko samajhna matlab apni life ko samajhna hai। Yeh granth humein sikhata hai ki har situation mein dharma ka saath dena chahiye aur Krishna ki sharan mein rehna chahiye। Hare Krishna Agar aap Mahabharat aur Bhagavad Gita ko deeply samajhna chahte hain, to hamare FREE 10-Day Gita Course ko zarur join karein
How to Control Your Mind Easily? A Practical Bhagavad Gita Guide
Let’s Be Honest… Kabhi aapne notice kiya hai… Aap decide karte ho.“Bas, ab focus karunga.” Aur 5 minutes ke baad hi Phone uth gaya Random thoughts aa gaye Mind kahin aur chala gaya Relatable hai na? Kabhi-kabhi lagta hai ki mind humara hai hi nahi…Wo har minute apni marzi se chal raha hai. If you’ve ever wondered how to control your mind, you’re definitely not alone. Aaj ke time pe sabse bada struggle external nahi hai —internal high. Wo Aur isi problem ka exact, practical solution milta hai in the Bhagavad Gita. Understanding the Real Meaning of Mind Control Sabse pehle ek myth clear karte hain. “Mind control doesn’t mean stopping thoughts but directing them properly.” Agar aap soch rahe ho ki mind control ka matlab hai:“Bilkul sochna band kar dena…” Toh wo possible hi nahi hai. Mind ka kaam hi hai sochna. Real control ka matlab hai: Kaunse thoughts ko allow karna Kaunse thoughts ko ignore karna Think of the mind’s thoughts like a tool. Agar aap usse use karoge → it will serve youAgar wo aapko use karega → problem start How to control my mind? Isn’t that what you have asked yourself? Sach batao… Kabhi aapne apne aap se ye nahi poocha? “How to control my mind?” “If you’re thinking about how to control my mind, the journey begins with awareness.” Sabse pehla step hai:Observe your mind Without judgement. the mind Aap kya sochte ho? Kis time pe distraction hota hai? Kaunsi cheez aapko trigger karti hai? Most people yahi galti karte hain:Wo control karna chahte hain… bina samjhe. Awareness ke bina control possible nahi hai. Practical Ways to Control Your Mind in Daily Life “Learning how to control the mind’s judgement. starts with small daily habits.” Mind ekdum se control nahi hota. Daily habits se shape hota hai. Start with these: First — Input ControlJo aap consume karte ho (social media, videos, music), woh the mind directly aapke thoughts banata hai. Second — Single TaskingMultitasking equals mind-woe scatteringEk time pe ek kaam = clarity Third — DisciplineDiscipline boring lagta hai…But multitasking equals mindfulness; it’s the shortcut to peace. What is on your mind? Let’s understand “Most people never pause to reflect on what is on your mind, and that’s the root issue.” Aapka pura life depend karta hai ek cheez par:Aap kya soch rahe ho Simple formula: Thoughts → Emotions → Actions → Life Results Agar thoughts:Negative → life heavyPositive → life lightFocused → life successful But problem kya hai? Hum apne thoughts ko check hi nahi karte. Mind ko jo aata hai, wo accept kar lete hain. Awareness laana padega. Become Your Master and Control Your Mind “To truly control your mind, you need higher engagement, not suppression.” Mind ko force se control nahi kar sakta. a. Bute. Agar aap sirf bolte rahoge:“Ye mat socho… ye mat socho…” Toh wo aur zyada wahi sochega. Solution kya hai? Replace lower thoughts with higher thoughts Aur yahi kaam spirituality karti hai. Jab aapka mind higher purpose mein engage hota hai…The TabSakta automatically controls data. The tab The Fight Between You and Your Mind Real fight bahar nahi hai. Andar hai. Aap vs your control data, mind. Mind kya chahta hai? Comfort Laziness Instant pleasure Aap kya chahte ho? Growth Discipline Peace Yeh conflict har roz hota hai. Aur jo jeet gaya…Your life jeet gaya. How to Stop Overthinking and Control Your Mind – Bhagavad Gita Secrets Revealed
How to Stop Overthinking and Control Your Mind – Bhagavad Gita Secrets Revealed Let’s Talk Honestly… Kabhi aisa hota hai ki aap bed par lete ho… sab quiet hota hai…lekin mind rukta hi nahi? Same thoughts repeat hote rehte hain: “Maine aisa kyun bola?” “Kal kya hoga?” “Log kya sochenge?” Aur dheere-dheere… yeh overthinking anxiety mein convert ho jaata hai. If you’re searching for how to stop overthinking, trust me — you’re not alone. Aaj ke time pe overthinking ek normal problem ban chuki hai, especially among youth. But good news yeh hai… iska solution bhi already exist karta hai — in the Bhagavad Gita. What is Overthinking? Simple language mein samjho: Overthinking = ek hi thought ko baar-baar repeat karna without conclusion. Sochna problem nahi hai…zyada sochna problem hai. Do types ke overthinking hote hain: Past-based: “Maine galti kar di…” Future-based: “Agar yeh ho gaya toh?” Aur dono ka result same hota hai —Stress. Why Overthinking Happens Thoda deep samjhte hain. Overthinking ka root kya hai? Desire → Attachment → Fear Hum kisi result, kisi person, ya kisi situation se attach ho jaate hain. Phir: Expectation create hoti hai Control chahte hain Aur jab control nahi hota → overthinking start Realization: You’re not overthinking… you’re over-attaching. How to Stop Overthinking Ab main point par aate hain. “Learning how to stop overthinking starts with understanding your mind.” Sabse pehle yeh samjho:Mind ko force se stop nahi kar sakte. Agar aap bolte ho:“Ye mat soch… ye mat soch…” Toh mind aur wahi sochega. Toh solution kya hai? 1. Observe Your Thoughts React mat karo… observe karo. Jaise:“Okay, mind yeh soch raha hai.” Bas dekhte raho. Awareness hi control ka first step hai. 2. Accept Uncertainty Overthinking ka major reason hai:Future control karna. Lekin sach kya hai? Future aapke control mein nahi hai. Jo control mein hai: Aapka effort Aapka attitude Baaki sab chhod do. 3. Focus on Action (Karma Yoga) Yeh Bhagavad Gita ka core principle hai. Action par focus karo… result par nahi. Kyuki result par focus karoge → stressAction par focus karoge → clarity 4. Reduce Mental Inputs Jo aap consume karte ho… wahi aap sochte ho. Social media News Reels Ye sab directly mind ko overload karte hain. Input kam karo → thoughts kam honge. How to Overcome Overthinking Agar aap seriously jaana chahte ho how to overcome overthinking, toh yeh practical steps follow karo. Shift from Problem to Solution Mind naturally problem pe focus karta hai. Aapko consciously shift karna padega:“Iska solution kya hai?” Stay in the Present Overthinking sirf do jagah hota hai:Past ya future Present mein overthinking possible hi nahi hai. Try this:Jo kaam kar rahe ho… usme full attention do. Build Discipline Discipline boring lagta hai…but it reduces overthinking. Kyu? Kyuki jab routine fixed hota hai…mind ko unnecessary sochne ka time hi nahi milta. Stop Comparing Yourself Comparison = overthinking ka fuel “Uska life better hai…”“Mujhe bhi waisa banna hai…” Ye sab unnecessary stress create karta hai. Overthinking in Hindi Simple words mein: Overthinking ka matlab hai ek hi baat ko baar-baar sochna bina kisi solution ke. Example: “Log kya sochenge?” “Agar main fail ho gaya toh?” “Kya main enough hoon?” Yeh sab thoughts aapko reality se door le jaate hain. Aur andar ek constant noise create karte hain. What Krishna Says About Overthinking Krishna ka ek powerful concept hai: Mind can be your best friend…or your worst enemy. Agar mind control mein hai: Peace Focus Clarity Agar nahi hai: Overthinking Anxiety Stress Simple Hinglish: “Mind ko control nahi kiya… toh woh aapko control karega.” Why Overthinking Feels So Powerful Kabhi socha hai… Mind itna powerful kyu lagta hai? Because: Brain aapko protect karna chahta hai Har possibility sochta hai But problem kya hai? Over-analysis → paralysis Zyada sochne se: Decision nahi le paate Action nahi le paate Aur life stuck ho jaati hai. Real-Life Story Ek ladka tha — Aman. Normal student… lekin ek problem thi:Overthinking. Har decision pe doubt Har situation pe fear Constant anxiety Result: Confidence low Focus zero Phir usne Gita ka ek simple principle apply kiya: “Focus on action, not result.” Saath mein: Morning routine Chanting Limited phone usage 1 month ke andar: Mind calm Clarity increase Confidence build Same life…but different mindset. Overthinking Quotes Kuch powerful lines jo aapko yaad rakhni chahiye: “Overthinking is the art of creating problems that don’t exist.” “The more you think, the less you act.” “Peace begins when overthinking ends.” “Your mind is a tool, not your master.” Hinglish mein: “Jitna zyada sochoge… utna kam jee paoge.” Practical Bhagavad Gita Solutions Chaliye ab direct solutions: 1. Awareness Mind ko samjho… tab control possible hai. 2. Karma Yoga Effort pe focus… result chhodo. 3. Detachment Attachment kam → stress kam 4. Chanting Hare Krishna Mahamantra = mind detox 5. Struggling with Stress & Anxiety? Here’s a Practical Gita Solution
Let’s Talk Honestly… Kabhi aisa feel hota hai ki life control se bahar ja rahi hai? You’re trying your best… Phir bhi stress, anxiety, overthinking — sab ek saath aa jaate hain. Future ka fear, past ka regret… aur present bas nikal jaata hai. Agar aap aisa feel kar rahe ho, trust me — you’re not alone. The same situation Arjuna was in in the Bhagavad Gita.He was not weak physically… he was mentally disturbed. The Real Problem: Mind is Not Under Control Krishna directly explain karte hain: Bg. 6.6 बन्धुरात्मात्मनस्तस्य येनात्मैवात्मना जित: ।अनात्मनस्तु शत्रुत्वे वर्तेतात्मैव शत्रुवत् ॥ ६ ॥ For him who has conquered the mind, the mind is the best of friends; but for one who has failed to do so, his mind will remain the greatest enemy. Simple baat: Agar mind control mein hai → best friendAgar nahi hai → worst enemy Aur sach bolo… Aaj humara mind kis side hai? Why Mind Feels Impossible to Control Arjuna bhi struggle kar rahe the: Bg. 6.34 चञ्चलं हि मन: कृष्ण प्रमाथि बलवद्दृढम् ।तस्याहं निग्रहं मन्ये वायोरिव सुदुष्करम् ॥ ३४ ॥ The mind is restless, turbulent, obstinate and very strong, O Kṛṣṇa, and to subdue it, I think, is more difficult than controlling the wind. Bilkul relatable hai na? Kabhi try kiya hai mind ko rokna?Aur zyada bhagta hai The Root Cause of Stress Krishna clearly bolte hain: Bg. 3.37 श्री भगवानुवाचकाम एष क्रोध एष रजोगुणसमुद्भवः ।महाशनो महापाप्मा विद्ध्येनमिह वैरिणम् ॥ The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: It is lust only, Arjuna, which is born of contact with the material mode of passion and later transformed into wrath, and which is the all-devouring sinful enemy of this world. Matlab: Desire → Expectation → Stress → Anger Hum sochte hain problem situation hai…But actually, the problem is the attachment. Solution 1: Focus on Duty, Not Results Yeh sabse powerful teaching hai: Bg. 2.47 कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन ।मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ॥ You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty. Perform your duty equipoised, O Arjuna, abandoning all attachment to success or failure. Such equanimity is called yoga. Yeh hi real stress and anxiety solution hai. Solution 2: Develop Focused Intelligence Bg. 2.41 व्यवसायात्मिका बुद्धिरेकेह कुरूनन्दन ।बहुशाखा ह्यनन्ताश्च बुद्धयोऽव्यवसायिनाम् Those who are on this path are resolute in purpose, and their aim is one. O beloved child of the Kurus, the intelligence of those who are irresolute is many-branched. Aaj problem kya hai? Too many distractionsToo many options Isliye mind scattered hai. Solution 3: Peace Comes from Mind Control Bg. 6.7 जितात्मन: प्रशान्तस्य परमात्मा समाहित: ।शीतोष्णसुखदु:खेषु तथा मानापमानयो: ॥ ७ ॥ For one who has conquered the mind, the Supersoul is already reached, for he has attained tranquillity. To such a man, happiness and distress, heat and cold, honour and dishonour are all the same. Imagine this state… Koi praise kare ya insult…Mind stable. Yehi real mental peace hai. Real-Life Story Ek ladka tha — Aman. Career pressure, comparison, social media… sab milke usko mentally disturb kar rahe the. Neend nahi aati Constant anxiety Overthinking Phir usne ek simple shift kiya: Effort pe focusResult chhod diya Aur daily chanting start ki. Slowly:Mind calmClarity increaseConfidence build Same life… but experience change. Solution 4: Stay Connected to Krishna Bg. 8.7 तस्मात्सर्वेषु कालेषु मामनुस्मर युध्य च ।मय्यर्पितमनोबुद्धिर्मामेवैष्यस्यसंशय: Therefore, Arjuna, you should always think of Me in the form of Kṛṣṇa and at the same time carry out your prescribed duty of fighting. With your activities dedicated to Me and your mind and intelligence fixed on Me, you will attain Me without doubt. Balance seekho: Work bhiSpiritual connection bhi Who is Actually in Control? Bg. 7.26 वेदाहं समतीतानि वर्तमानानि चार्जुन ।भविष्याणि च भूतानि मां तु वेद न कश्चन ॥ O Arjuna, as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, I know everything that has happened in the past, all that is happening in the present, and all things that are yet to come. I also know all living entities, but no one knows me. Aur: CC Ādi 5.142 এখানে ঈশ্বর কৃষ্ণ এবং আর সব ভৃত্য ।যারে যৈছে নাচায়, সে তৈছে করে নৃত্য ॥ ১৪২ ॥ ekāle īśvara kṛṣṇa, āra saba bhṛtyayāre yaiche nācāya, se taiche kare nṛtya Lord Kṛṣṇa alone is the supreme controller, and all others are His servants. They dance as He makes them do so. Toh jab sab control mein nahi hai… tension kyu lena? In the Age of Kali, intelligent persons perform congregational chanting to worship the incarnation of Godhead who constantly sings the names of Kṛṣṇa. Is Sanatan Dharma the Best Religion in the World?
Confusion! Confusion! Confusion! Many a time you might have asked yourself and others as well regarding religion. What is religion? What are its fundamentals? What is its importance in common living or in our day-to-day life? All these questions must have arrived once in your dear dreams, very often if you are really a genuine spiritual seeker. But don’t worry, all of your questions and doubts would be cleared in today’s discussion. Modern world, modern people, modern confusion — but the topic is still old: what is spirituality and religion? So now before knowing what is spirituality, we should first know what is not spirituality. → Here are some points which completely contradict the real meaning of spirituality: a) Spirituality is only a means of relaxing the mind.b) Spirituality means regulating duties and not following any rules and regulations.c) Spirituality brings material prosperity.d) Spirituality is only restricted to caste, nation and society. → These are some points which definitely are not related to spirituality or dharma. So the question still remains: what is the actual meaning of ‘dharma’? What is the Real Meaning of Dharma → The real meaning of dharma is already explained in Srimad Bhagavatam ŚB 6.3.19 dharmaṁ tu sākṣād bhagavat-praṇīta ṁ na vai vidur ṛṣayo nāpi devāḥ na siddha-mukhyā asurā manuṣyāḥ kuto nu vidyādhara-cāraṇādayaḥ Real religious principles are enacted by the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Although fully situated in the mode of goodness, even the great ṛṣis who occupy the topmost planets cannot ascertain the real religious principles, nor can the demigods or the leaders of Siddhaloka, to say nothing of the asuras, ordinary human beings, Vidyādharas and Cāraṇas. → Real religious principles are enunciated. → Dharma is truly connected to the soul, not to the body. No doubt, for maintaining the body, we also have to follow dharma, but that would also be prescribed by the self-scriptures. More Scientific and Broad Meaning of Sanatan Dharma The word ‘Sanatan’ is derived from the Sanskrit language, which means ‘eternal’. As the name suggests, Sanatan Dharma is eternal, meaning it is beginning-less and endless. → Sanatan Dharma teaches the way of living. → Sanatan Dharma not only teaches us to get out of this world but also tells us how we should live in our day-to-day life. → Vedic scripture has four pillars — dharma, artha, kama, and moksha — and Sanatan Dharma gives the information for all. → Dharma is used for generating artha, artha is used to fulfil kama, and when kama does not get satisfied, then it gives birth to desire for moksha. Two Types of Dharma Deh Dharma (religion for the body) As we all are stuck in the material body despite being originally the soul, we need to perform some actions to maintain the body. The actions performed to maintain the body under the direction of scriptural injunctions are called Deh Dharma. Atma Dharma (religion for the soul) Atma Dharma has nothing to do with the body. It is fully connected to the soul. We all are part and parcel of Krishna, but due to our tendency to enjoy the material nature, we are stuck in this material world. So we try to go out of the wings of “maya” (the material energy), and those actions which are directed towards this mission are called Atma Dharma. Unique Features of Sanatan Dharma Eternality Sanatan Dharma — the owner or founder of Sanatan Dharma is still unknown. Nobody knows who has created Sanatan Dharma. Every religion has its founder person who established that particular religion, but the founder of Sanatan Dharma is still unknown. → Fun fact: Actually it is unknown for the author, but we are mere… Scriptural Evidence The Bhagavad Gita explains who created Sanatan Dharma. It is Krishna (the Supreme God) who has created this Dharma. He himself has confirmed in the Bhagavad Gita. Bg. 15.15 sarvasya cāhaṁ hṛdi sanniviṣṭo mattaḥ smṛtir jñānam apohanaṁ ca vedaiś ca sarvair aham eva vedyo vedānta-kṛd veda-vid eva cāham I am seated in everyone’s heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness. By all the Vedas, I am to be known. Indeed, I am the compiler of Vedānta, and I am the knower of the Vedas. Soul Concept The concept of ‘soul’ is very unique in Sanatan Dharma. Other religions do not talk much about the soul; some religions do not accept the existence of the soul, and some simply deny it. But Sanatan Dharma is the only religion in the world which not only tells about the soul but also gives a detailed scientific explanation of the soul. For more info, you can read the Bhagavad Gita. There are so many verses like BG 2.13, etc. God as Personality or Person Last but not least, Sanatan Dharma clarifies the most heated debate in the world: “Who is God?” Sanatan Dharma clearly depicts that God is a person and His name is “Krishna”, the all-attractive. Many and many references in the scriptures clearly depict that God is not impersonal. He is a Śrī Brahma-saṁhitā 5.1 īśvaraḥ paramaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ sac-cid-ānanda-vigrahaḥ anādir ādir govindaḥ sarva-kāraṇa-kāraṇam Kṛṣṇa who is known as Govinda is the Supreme Godhead. He has an eternal blissful spiritual body. He is the origin of all. He has no other origin and He is the prime cause of all causes. Conclusion After reading the complete blog, I am pretty sure you might have got a smart idea that, yes, it is only Sanatan Dharma which can be the best religion in the world. The purpose of this blog was not to defame any other religion or to just prove the superiority of Sanatan Dharma over others. It was just an innocent attempt to clarify the doubts regarding religion and Sanatan Dharma, especially among youth, so that they could not be misled and they could get the original information from the original source. And that is the aim of Prabhupad Ashraya. There were so many more things to tell in this regard, but I have only said as
